Service commercial refrigeration systems throughout South Florida and the Treasure Coast. This position is for a technician who can independently diagnose refrigeration problems, communicate clearly with customers, and complete repairs safely inside active retail facilities.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair supermarket refrigeration systems.
- Service rack systems, condensing units, compressors, evaporators, refrigerated cases, walk-ins, and freezers.
- Troubleshoot electrical controls, refrigerant circuits, defrost systems, EEVs, TXVs, sensors, and communication issues.
- Work with refrigeration controllers, energy-management systems, and building controls.
- Perform leak detection, refrigerant recovery, evacuation, charging, and system startup.
- Complete preventive maintenance and emergency service calls.
- Document findings, repairs, refrigerant usage, and recommended follow-up work.
- Communicate professionally with store personnel, facility managers, dispatchers, and project teams.
Qualifications
- Commercial or supermarket refrigeration service experience.
- Strong refrigeration, electrical, and controls troubleshooting skills.
- Working knowledge of rack refrigeration and common supermarket equipment.
- EPA Section 608 certification.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, refrigeration schematics, and equipment documentation.
- Ability to work safely from ladders, lifts, rooftops, and within mechanical rooms.
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation when required.
Preferred experience
- Emerson E2/E3, Danfoss, Carel, Dixell, or similar refrigeration controls.
- CO₂, R-404A, R-448A, R-449A, and other commercial refrigeration systems.
- Supermarket remodels, equipment replacements, rack startups, and commissioning.
- Refrigerant leak repair and compressor replacement.

Work on commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and mechanical projects throughout South Florida and the Treasure Coast. We are looking for someone who takes pride in clean piping installations and can work safely and productively as part of a project team.
Responsibilities
- Install commercial refrigeration and HVAC piping systems.
- Measure, cut, fit, braze, solder, and support copper piping.
- Install ACR copper, refrigerant piping, condensate piping, insulation, and associated components.
- Read construction drawings, piping diagrams, equipment schedules, and project specifications.
- Lay out piping routes and coordinate around existing utilities and building systems.
- Install hangers, supports, valves, regulators, filter-driers, sight glasses, and related components.
- Assist with rack systems, walk-ins, RTUs, equipment replacements, and mechanical-room projects.
- Perform nitrogen purging, pressure testing, evacuation, leak testing, and system preparation.
Qualifications
- Commercial HVAC, refrigeration, or mechanical pipefitting experience.
- Strong brazing and piping-layout skills.
- Familiarity with commercial refrigeration and HVAC installation practices.
- Ability to read plans, specifications, and piping schematics.
- Ability to work on rooftops, lifts, ladders, and active construction sites.
- Ability to lift and position piping, tools, and equipment safely.
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
- Reliable attendance and the ability to travel to jobsites throughout South Florida.
Preferred experience
- Large-diameter ACR copper piping.
- Supermarket refrigeration racks and case piping.
- Walk-in cooler and freezer installations.
- Commercial HVAC equipment replacements.
- Nitrogen pressure testing and evacuation procedures.
- OSHA 10, lift certification, or other relevant safety training.
- Refrigeration piping insulation.
